Job Position: QA / QC Engineer

Job description

• We are currently seeking experienced QAQC Engineers to join our team and oversee quality assurance and control for our building and road construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QAQC procedures and standards for building and road construction projects.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with quality plans, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve quality-related issues on-site promptly.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, test results, and quality reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
• Conduct regular audits of construction activities and recommend improvements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality assurance and control procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in QAQC roles for building and road construction projects (non-negotiable).
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and standards.
• Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, BS).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Certification in QAQC practices is a plus (e.g., CQE, ASQ, or equivalent).
