We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Quality Assurance Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Department: Production
Direct Reporting Line: Operations Manager

Job Purpose

• To coordinate the quality control process and work with other staff and vendors in ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards in every stage of production in line with job specifications so as to avoid errors on printed jobs.
• Check the completed jobs to ensure they pass our quality check. No job should be released to customer without passing through quality checks.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all jobs are done according to specifications for design, printing and packaging.
• Maintain process & product quality control parameters as per company standard and customer requirements.
• Perform samples selection, taking random samples of jobs at different stages of production and examine for any possible errors that is out of specification.
• Check quality of materials and inventory to be used for production.
• Ensure vendors understand our quality standards and produce jobs that meet our standard.
• Develop quality control checklist for jobs and monitor proper implementation of quality control plan and standard operating procedure (SOP).
• Perform quality checks on all completed jobs for accuracy and completeness before delivery to customers.
• Ensure the products meet quality conformance specified by the customer.
• Prepare daily, weekly & monthly reports and report any error immediately to the Operations Manager.

Key Relationships (Internal and External):

• Operations Manager, production team. Vendors, CRM, BD team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of OND certificate.
• Knowledge of printing processes, materials and machines.
• Minimum of 3 years of working knowledge of quality control in the printing industry.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Suite).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills - the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment without losing sight of long and short-term company goals.
• Attention to details.
