We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all quality control procedures and standards are followed.
  • Implementing corrective actions to address any issues
  • Check work orders or blueprints to make sure products are up to company standards.
  • Record the results of inspections, compute the proportion of products that are defective, and prepare reports.
  • Conduct product tests and assessment using appropriate test methods, checking that specifications are met.
  • Identify product defects or potential issues and determining what to do to resolve the issue.
  • Maintaining a documentation and records of quality control activities.
  • Staying updated on industry standards and regulations
  • Preparing documents
  • Record and report issues to help identify and eliminate recurring problems and provide a paper trail to aid in accountability and error reporting. Provide the reports to supervisors / managers to help them make decisions about HR processes and practices.
  • Support process improvements throughout the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that products are produced consistently.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members
  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
  • Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
  • Set the tone for your team - coaching, instilling a strong customer focus and setting high standards.
  • Keep ahead of industry’s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
  • Control resources and utilise assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission
  • Develop service procedures, policies and standards
  • Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions
  • Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports
  • Adhere to and manage the approved budget
  • Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities.

Required Person / Competency Specification

  • Holds HND / B.Sc in a Science discipline.
  • At least 3 years cognate QAQC experience.
  • Knowledge of valves test; Isolation and safety.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of test certificates preparation.
  • Sound knowledge of Valves surface preparation process.
  • Sound knowledge of pressure safety valve certificate.
  • Sound computer skills
  • Proven experience of working with minimum supervision.
  • Attention to detail to ensure effective assessment and analysis.
  • Sound oral and written communication skill.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Remuneration
N120,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
