Job Description


  • We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team and oversee the quality management process for our construction projects and production of construction materials.
  • The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities adhere to established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction quality management, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities to identify any deviations from quality standards and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Review construction plans, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure alignment with quality requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct supplier and subcontractor evaluations to assess their quality performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage the documentation and record-keeping process for quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and quality assurance documentation.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and other project-related meetings to provide input on quality-related matters.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to construction quality management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction material quality management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
