Relationship Officer

ROLE SUMMARY

To prospect new clients and manage the company’s relationship with existing clients to grow the Merchant Services business line.

DUTIES AND RESPNSIBILITIES 


  • Building and maintaining relationships with key personnel within customer companies.
  • Ensuring the prompt implementation of the team’s approved merchant acquiring strategy and business plans
  • Implementation of new marketing initiatives and solutions.
  • Sale of point of Sale (POS) terminals and other products/solutions to Banks and clients.
  • Ensuring that terminals assigned to ITEX at merchant’s location as PTSPs are not reassigned to another PTSP by proactively identifying triggers that may cause loss of PTSP role.
  • Seamless interactions with both internal and external Customers.
  • Ensuring that customer issues and/or service requests are promptly attended to.
  • Monitoring and ensuring timely closure of all requests for service issued by the customer during onboarding stage.
  • Monitoring terminal activity of the acquired merchants.
  • Escalating areas of concern as raised by the customer and work with ITEX support teams/3rd parties to promptly resolve same.
  • Conducting periodic meetings with the customers, internal and external to verify that customers are provided excellent services in line with (any) agreement prior onboarding.

REQUIREMENT

  • BSC  or  HND  in Marketing or any Business-Related discipline.
  • 1 year experience in a relationship officer or sales role.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills.
  • Good Communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Problem analysis and solving skill.
  • Strong Business intelligence skill
  • Good knowledge in MS Office.
