About the Role


  • As the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will primarily be responsible for identifying and analyzing the areas of potential risk threatening the assets, earning capacity, and success of the organization. 

Operational Responsibilities

  • Analyze and Monitor partner performance (transaction volume, disputes and chargeback activity, 3rd party risk data, etc.)
  • Assess settlement process ensuring the identification and mitigation of settlement risk issues.  
  • Monitoring, identifying, and preventing any suspicious or high-risk transactions.
  • Develop partner risk assessment package detailing Key Risk Indicators, trends, and projections for monthly and quarterly presentations to Partner executives, our management team, and board.
  • Anticipate partner defaults (as far as possible) and manage defaults in a manner that minimizes risk.
  • Ensure compliance with Partner risk monitoring policies.
  • Contributing to the development of metrics used for risk factor identification and stress-testing processes.
  • Proactively developing risk tools by working with the technology team.
  • Mapping company policies, procedures, and cybersecurity controls to partnerships and customer service agreements.
  • Implementation of risk management tools and techniques for new and existing business initiatives.

Required Competency and Skillset

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar function
  • An understanding of compliance and regulatory framework in the Payments / financial services space
  • Familiarity with security and privacy standards and regulations (E.g. GDPR, SOC II, PCI.)
  • Ability to use data to drive desired results and support intelligent risk-taking.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
