Comternet was conceived in early 2015, by September 15 of that year it was incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), it later got licensed by Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) as a telecom service provider and within a short time it became the preferred IT connectivity solution provider in Uyo and its environs. Today Comternet is an NCC licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering superfast internet across Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Position: Sales / Marketing Officer

Job Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria

About the Job

• Comternet is an NCC licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering superior broadband services across Nigeria.
• We need individuals who are influential and can participate confidently in discussions with prospects/customers, understand their need and proffer our broadband service for them to subscribe to. The individuals must be brilliant at closing business deals.

Job Description

• Develop and increase the appropriate visibility of the Comternet brand.
• Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
• Work with team members to develop, implement and track performance of sales/marketing plan.
• Build a prospect-base that can be converted to customers within a targeted period.
• Develop and implement strategy to continuously meet and exceed sales target.
• Liaise with customers to sustain excellent and improved customer experience.
• Liaise with the technical team for before and after sales support of customers.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Marketing or other related discipline.
• Minimum of two years experience in related field

Requirements:

• Must be a go-getter, team player, resilient, passionate, persuasive and convincing
• Must be physically fit and be consistently neat in appearance
• Have excellent people and communication skills
• Is conversant with the fixed broadband market
• Ready to travel at short notice
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
