We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: School Nurse

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide basic healthcare services to students in case of injury or acute illness
• Educate students and staff on healthy habits, such as proper nutrition and hygiene
• Ensure school environment is safe for children and school staff (e.g. prevention of communicable diseases)
• Ensure compliance with national and local health laws.
• Detect health problems in early stages through regular screenings
• Keep track of students’ vaccination records.
• Update students’ medical history.
• Safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and RN license
• Minimum of 3 years of post registration nursing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a school nurse.
• Hospitable, empathetic and supportive.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Good organizational and management skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Clear understanding of boys’ and girls’ developmental needs.
