We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Audit and Tax Intern
Job Location: Sabo - Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Assist with property tax and sales/use filings
• Perform tax research and technical analysis
• Gather data as needed to respond to notices and audits
• Engage with various individuals across the company
• Learn about various information technology systems and the processes in place to protect these systems
• Understand the importance of the Internal Audit process
• Preparing a variety of financial reports (audits, reviews, compilations, and tax returns)
• Auditing a diverse mix of entities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related disciplines.
• 0 - 1 year of experience in the role.
• Good knowledge of spreadsheets and excellent presentation skills
• Thorough understanding of business requirements and problem-solving skills
• Interest and ability in math and financial systems, taxation law certifications and other relevant courses
• Knowledgeable of technical trends in theindustry
• Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and constantly meet deadlines.
