Job Position: Senior Human Resources Advisor

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Functionally Reports to: Employee Experience Manager

Purpose of Job 


  • Manage the Strategic, Administrative and Operational responsibilities of regular full-time employees ensuring that the company’s policies and principles are compiled with by all employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Employee Experience Manager (EEM) to deliver on the people agenda
  • Ensure that all HR service delivery is brilliantly executed/implemented via resourcing advisory, learning and development, performance management, rewards, HR data and analytics, employee engagement and compliance/ethics
  • Assist in tracking their deliverables/projects via organizational structure updates, tracking confirmation of new employees, updating, and reporting the project tracker etc
  • Provide advisory on recent HR trends and ways of working whilst working with EEM to implement those initiatives
  • Strong focus and support for the performance management and employee engagement function
  • Help to design, align, get approved and implement robust and efficient culture survey and employee feedback mechanisms, to regularly and proactively monitor the climate of the organization and the engagement of our workforce; to drive continuous improvement in Net Promoter Score and consistent reduction of talent turnover
  • Following up on ensuring all jobs are professionally evaluated and graded
  • Drive reporting with data to provide Management with insights to drive decision making on all employee related services
  • Manage budget, ensuring headcount and cost are within approved figures
  • Work with various departments, assisting line managers to design and implement policies and procedures on employee matters

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or any related field of study
  • 5+ years of relevant experience within a similar responsibility
  • Strong experience in the performance management and employee engagement functions
  • Possess strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong advisory and research skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Ensure prompt resolution of complaints and issues from the Business Unit
  • Strong people and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Membership of CIPM or other recognized HR institute would be a plus
