Job Position: Senior Lecturer
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Faculty: Allied Health Sciences
Department: Medical Laboratory Sciences

Description
The department of Medical Laboratory Sciences is in need of qualified Senior Lecturers in the following areas:

• Chemical Pathology
• Histopathology
• Immunology.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Applicant must possess Doctorate Degree and/or FWACP, FMC Path in the relevant discipline with at least six (6) years in University teaching and research in the relevant areas.
• The applicant must have been a Lecturer I for three (3) years, with a good record of scholarly publications of at least eight (8) Journal papers, two (2) must be published off-shore or six (6) Journal papers of which at least two (2) must be published offshore plus four (4) referred proceedings.

Conditions of Service

• As contained in the Human Resource Policy Document of the University.

Salary and Allowances
Salary and allowances are at enhanced level above those presently in Public Universities in Nigeria.
