Job Position: Senior Marketing Officer

Job Summary

• As a Senior Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales and marketing strategies, building strong client relationships, and enhancing our brand presence in the market.

Responsibilities

• Generate direct sales channels with brands, customers, and B2B.
• Revenue Generation
• Procurement of Barter Arrangements for News Central TV
• Liaising with Media Agencies to procure campaigns for the television station
• Market rate cards for all regions and ensure each market applies them.
• Client engagement and Management
• Collaborating with other departments within the Organization
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals.
• Identify strategic partners that will create awareness, help build the News Central brand, close the deals and reduce operational expenses for the company through barter or discounted arrangements.
• Search for advertising or sponsorship opportunities for the station and ensure that the brand fits with listeners or the style of different shows.
• Day-to-day contact via phone and email with key agency contacts.
• Weekly WIP meetings with crucial agency contacts.
• Ensure the correct advertising material is delivered to the station in time for campaigns.
• Accommodate and prioritize several concurrent advertising campaigns.
• Problem-solving within the context of the job.
• Follow up with the client to ensure payment is made based on the agreement
• Build and maintain a database of key contacts across media and potential client sectors.
