We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Site Engineer

Job Location: Durumi - Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

• Overseeing and managing the site labour force and sub-contractors
• Overseeing health and safety of workers on site
• To ensure all design and material changes are correctly incorporated into the construction project.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the site.
• Representing the company on the site
• Checking plans, quantities and drawings to ensure accuracy
• Liaising with sub-contractors
• Organizing materials and ensuring they are propery stored and safe
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts
• To ensure the construction project follows the required design, using the correct materials, to the required quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or similar.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Sound knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
• Must be able to interpret structural drawings with precision
• Must have eyes for details and not be prone to errors.
• Excellent leadership, negotiating and influencing skills.
• Superb project management skills.
• Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• A willingness to learn.
• Must be a person of integrity
• Applicants must be resident in Abuja
