Job Position: Social Media Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing our online presence, fostering community engagement, and driving brand awareness across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Stay updated on trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies.
• Create engaging, high-quality content (text, images, videos) tailored for various platforms.
• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.
• Use data insights to optimize content and strategies.
• Manage the content calendar and schedule posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
• Monitor online conversations and foster a positive brand community.
• Work closely with the marketing, design, and sales teams to align social media efforts with broader campaigns.
• Partner with influencers and other brands for collaborations.
• Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s tone, voice, and visual identity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a social media manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media analytics platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with a knack for storytelling.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with social media advertising.
• Experience with content creation and engagements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
