Job Position: Sonographer

key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of organs, tissues, and blood flow.
• Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment.
• Analyze images for clarity and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including images and technical notes.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited sonography or radiologic technology program.
• Certification from a recognized body
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Attention to detail and technical proficiency.

Salary
N250,000 per month.
