We provide custom-made financial services to both corporate and individual customers. Our Board and Management teams consist of seasoned individuals with diverse experience in banking, finance, law, and business.

Job Position: Stock Broker (Dealer)

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose


  • To lead the equities trading team and support the firm’s business development efforts and Report to the Managing director

Job Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of a stockbroker include:

  • Providing investment advice and recommendations
  • Monitoring stock market performance
  • Administering and evaluating clients' investment holdings
  • Marketing themselves to potential clients
  • Purchasing new share issues
  • Interpreting financial reports
  • Researching and analyzing market trends and financial data to make informed investment decisions
  • Executing trades on behalf of clients and monitoring their investment portfolios
  • Staying abreast with the latest financial news
  • Providing regular updates to clients regarding the status of their investment portfolios
  • Informing clients of new investment opportunities within the stock market
  • Management of the firm proprietary trading portfolio
  • Prepare weekly and monthly investment performance reports
  • Daily trade execution
  • Supervision of the equities trading team
  • Performance management for the equities trading team
  • Supporting the sales trading team on marketing efforts, presentations and client visits
  • Manage basket of selected stocks for profitable investments

Required Qualifications

  • A good Degree qualification in Accounting with 4-6 years of experience as a dealing clerk of the NGX.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to monitor macroeconomic trends and understand their tradeoffs on investments
  • Strong numerate and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience equities and Fixed income trading
  • Good planning and effective workflow management to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in use of trading software, Microsoft Office suit
  • Experience with managing corporates and high net-worth individuals.
