Job Position: Supply Chain Associate

Job Location: Lagos

Position Summary


  • We are seeking a Supply Chain Associate responsible for overseeing the allocation, transportation, and setup of assets. 
  • This role ensures timely and cost-effective procurement, delivery, and installation of necessary components while maintaining strict adherence to budget and deployment schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Asset Allocation & Transportation:

  • Oversee the allocation and transportation of assets to all regions.
  • Track and report on asset deliveries to ensure zero delays.
  • Ensure all transportation activities align with the company’s operational goals and timelines.

Setup & Installation:

  • Oversee the installation of necessary components upon asset arrival.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure efficient setup processes.
  • Maintain detailed records of completed setups.
  • Verify that all setup activities align with deployment schedules.

Procurement & Supplier Management:

  • Identify and engage with reliable suppliers for oil and spare parts.
  • Inspect procured oil and spare parts to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Address quality concerns with suppliers immediately to prevent disruptions.

Vehicle Registration & Compliance:

  • Oversee the registration and licensing process for all vehicles.
  • Verify that all vehicles meet local regulatory standards.
  • Monitor renewals for vehicle documentation (e.g., insurance, roadworthiness).
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of vehicle documents.
  • Provide periodic reports on documentation status to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics operations.
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and logistics coordination.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate insights for operational efficiency.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
