Description


  • We seek a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to support our supply chain function for drilling operations in Nigeria.
  • This pivotal role will guide procurement, category management, vendor relationships, and supply chain strategies to ensure seamless drilling operations. 
  • Lead and manage a team of Senior Supply Chain Officers, Supply Chain Officers, and others, fostering a high-performance culture. 
  • Manage category strategies, framework agreements, and contract lifecyclepre-e and post-award stages). 
  •  Ensure compliance with Nigerian Content policies and develop initiatives to maximize local content participation. 
  • Support development and execute strategic sourcing plans for OCTGs, Wellheads, Christmas Trees, accessories, drilling fluids, chemicals, and other drilling-related materials and services. 
  • Oversee tendering processes, evaluating proposals, and preparing recommendations for the Contracts Board. 
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives, develop budgets, and monitor procurement efficiencies. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational needs. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Studies, or a related field. 
  • Minimum #15 years of industry experience supporting drilling operations in the oil and gas sector. 
  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification is mandatory. 
  • An MBA or advanced business qualification is an added advantage. 
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, tendering, and contract management within oil and gas drilling.
