Job Position: Warehouse Manager

Job Location: Lakowe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

• We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead our daily fulfillment operations. As the leader of our warehouse, you will be responsible for ensuring every order is picked, packed, and shipped with 100% accuracy.
• You will manage a team of associates, optimize our warehouse layout for maximum speed, and ensure that our inventory records match the physical reality on our shelves.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of fulfillment officers to meet daily productivity and fulfillment goals.
• Oversee the entire workflow of receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching goods to ensure timely customer delivery.
• Execute regular cycle counts and audits to maintain high inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies immediately.
• Enforce strict health and safety standards (e.g., OSHA) and ensure all equipment, such as forklifts, is maintained and operated safely.
• Monitor and report on core warehouse KPIs, including Order Picking Accuracy, Dock-to-Stock time, and Labor Productivity.
• Implement 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to optimize space utilization and reduce order cycle times.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 3–5 years in warehouse or logistics management, ideally within a high-volume e-commerce or FMCG environment.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems and inventory software.
• Must be able to lift up to 25kg and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift operator certification is often required; OSHA safety training is a major plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and top management.
• Experience in automated sorting or picking systems
• Background in lean warehousing and process optimization
