Job Position: Warehouse Supervisor


Job Location: Magboro, Ogun (Along Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Close to Magboro or Mount of Fire Church)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • Warehouse supervisor oversees and coordinates daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising other warehouse staffs, and securing the warehouse.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies, inventories, and products.
  • Monitor inventory usage and re-order levels.
  • Implement FIFO and FEFO as required for stocks.
  • Supervise the processing of requisitions, invoices, reimbursements of warehouse items, as well as complete requisitions materials/ stocks.
  • Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required.
  • Supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogues as required.
  • Monitor automated warehousing system; collate data, and handle required material reconciliation.
  • Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees.
  • Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver materials, textbooks, supplies or equipment; complete packing slips for shipments as assigned.
  • Route, schedule, pack and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Lead regulatory agency visits for site and warehouse inspection.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Robust experience in warehouse GMP requirements, as well as prior experience in inter-phasing with Nafdac and other regulatory agencies on warehousing issues.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to details
  • Experienced in receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials.
  • Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.
  • Prior experience in Health, safety & management of regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent Quantitative Analysis skills
  • Computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures.
  • Ability to work and maintain professional cross-functional relationships in a diverse team.
  • Ability to handle/drive a forklift and other assigned vehicle and equipment is an added advantage.

Education and Experience

  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting / Finance or related Sciences.
  • 2-4 years of experience in similar role in a similar warehousing outfit
  • Age Requirement: 28 - 35 years.
