We are a Nigerian based manufacturing company that specialize in plastics and nylon packaging materials productions. We produce high quality polythene bags from 100 percent recycled LDPE and HDPE. We produce in commercial and retail quantity in deference sizes and thickness with all various gadget and industrial equipment. Ernest-Ester Industries Nig Ltd with less than a decade of existence hasa staff strength of over two hundred personnel’s and have achievedan extensive list of satisfied clients and continues to work hard to maintain great client relationship. As a business we support individual and businesses for better opportunities with broad view of improving the bottom-line.

Job Position: Account Manager
Job Location: Jericho - Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's account/finances, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis.
  • This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.
  • Develop and monitor budgets to ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Work closely with other departments to support financial planning and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance profitability.
  • Conduct financial analysis to guide decision-making and support business strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Manage cash flow, banking, and financial transactions.
  • Lead the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
  • Assist in strategic planning and financial risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in managing an account team and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Added Advantage (experience in the manufacturing sector)
