We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Account Officer
Job Location: Ogbaku, Mbaitoli - Imo

About the Role

• We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Account Officer with practical, hands-on accounting experience. The ideal candidate must have previously worked in an accounting role and should have commenced ICAN (at least ATS or in-progress professional stages).
• This role requires someone who is analytical, organized, and capable of managing financial transactions with accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Handle reconciliations (bank, cash, sales, inventory, etc.).
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.
• Process invoices, payments, and ensure proper expense tracking.
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company financial policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2– 6 years of work experience in a structured accounting role.
• Must have commenced ICAN (ATS or Professional Stage).
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism are essential.
• Resident in Imo State ( Owerri & Ogbaku environ preferably).
