African Foundries Limited Graduate Trainee Programme (Metallurgy and Material Engineering)
African Foundries Limited (AFL) was established to support the accelerating growth in Nigeria by making the country self-reliant for steel rebars and eliminating its dependence on imported rebars. AFL is set up to reach a 0.5 million-ton per year capacity for high strength rebars and allied products.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Graduate Trainee (Metallurgy and Material Engineering)
Job Location: Ogijo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Providing advice on the suitability of metals, based on different purposes.
- Recommending and advising product feasibility.
- Conducting product research.
- Ensuring compliance and adherence to quality standards in manufacturing.
- Crafting and shaping precise designs for components.
- Providing innovative solutions to problems.
- Overseeing operational quality control processes.
Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, production and industrial engineering, Metallurgy & Material Science).
- Passion for engineering and innovation.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Proactive team player.
