Job Position: Assistant Operations Officer


Job Location: Ogudu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Operations Officer to support the smooth day-to-day running of CLMI’s training, events, and membership operations.
  • The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks while working closely with the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of training programs, workshops, and conferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of participants, members, and program schedules.
  • Handle basic administrative duties such as correspondence, documentation, and filing.
  • Liaise with vendors, facilitators, and service providers as directed.
  • Support logistics for events including venue setup, attendee management, and materials preparation.
  • Provide timely reports to the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure smooth internal processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc. in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in operations, admin, or event coordination is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must reside in Ogudu or nearby environs (strict requirement).
