Job Position: Chief Executive Officer - Insurance Brokerage

Job Location: Lagos

About the Job

• The KOKO Group is seeking a talented individual to lead the strategic direction, growth, and overall performance of an insurance brokerage subsidiary in Lagos.
• This is a full-time, on-site role strategic leadership role for a professional to work with operational knowledge of brokerage business, business growth and development, governance and compliance with NAICOM regulations etc.
• The ideal candidate will manage the overall operations of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of the customers, the stakeholders, and the employees.
• They will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the culture of the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business plan and strategy for growth and profitability
• Build and manage client relationships across markets and sectors
• Lead, hire, and develop the team required for sustainable growth
• Oversee compliance, risk, and operational excellence
• Report directly to the Territory Director

Requirements

• Must have at least 10 years post-graduation work experience (5 of which must be in a similar capacity) within a financial institution environment -Insurance, Insurance Brokerage
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance brokerage, including 2+ years in senior leadership
• The Ideal candidate must demonstrate a track record of performance in the insurance or finance business
• Proven experience in the startup of an insurance brokerage firm
• Registered with the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB)
• Must be a member of Insurance Professional body: CIIN, AIIN, ACII, CFA, CIS or CISI
