We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Civil Engineer
Job Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Inspection of all formwork and Reinforcement steelwork as per standard.
• Conducting material inspections for all Construction items delivered at the site.
• Preparing and reviewing work method statements, inspection test plans and checklistsas per specifications, international standards and code of practice.
• Conducting regular inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and constructionprocesses to identify defects, deviations from specifications, and areas for improvement.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, includinginspection reports, test results, and non-conformance records, to track project progressand compliance.
• Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are Upto-date.
• Preparing daily, Weekly & and monthly progress reports for the work done in the qualitycontrol section.
• Conduct training programs at the site for the development and improvement ofworkmanship thereby achieving better productivity.
• Identifying non-conformities and implementing corrective actions to address qualityissues promptly, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors toresolve issues effectively.
• Providing training and guidance to project team members on quality standards,procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality excellence and continuousimprovement.
• Communicating with all stakeholders regarding quality-related matters, addressingconcerns, providing updates, and ensuring alignment with management’s expectations.
• Daily field inspection of construction operations to ensure compliance with approvedProject Design, Drawings, specifications, and approved Project Quality Plans

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Eng Degrees with 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience.

Salary
N500,000 per month.
