We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Commercial Manager
Job Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure high-volume purchase orders (POs) for raw materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and buyers across the agro-processing value chain.
• Track and analyze market prices for key inputs such as soya bean and palm kernel oil.
• Lead negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with production needs.
• Monitor industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and market dynamics to guide decision-making.
• Contribute to revenue growth through strategic sourcing and business development.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, procurement, or trading roles in agribusiness, FMCG, or commodity trading.
• Strong and active network of suppliers and buyers in the agricultural and vegetable oil industry.
• In-depth understanding of soya bean, palm kernel oil, and related commodities.
• Proven track record in securing POs and managing supplier negotiations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on performance and market responsiveness.
