We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Construction Engineer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion.
• Team Coordination: Liaise with construction crews, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow on-site.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate project cost estimates and budgets, considering materials, labor, and equipment expenses.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
• Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of high-standard construction projects.
• Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular project updates.
• Quotation Development: Work on detailed project quotations, considering all aspects of construction activities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction engineering.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Project Management: Proven experience in managing construction projects from conception to completion.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Industry Knowledge: Experience in construction projects related to hotels or commercial offices.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in construction management.
