Job Summary

  • JNO Integrated Services is recruiting aCountry Programme Manager for an NGO thatwill provide strategic and operational leadership for the Foundation’s programmes in Nigeria.
  • The role involves overseeing programme planning, implementation, monitoring, partnerships, and team management to ensure high-quality, impactful delivery aligned with organisational objectives.

Job responsibiilities
Programme Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and implement the country programme strategy in line with organisational goals.
  • Oversee planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of programmes.
  • Ensure accountability to beneficiaries, partners, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor programme risks, security issues, and provide timely updates to management and the Board.

Programme Quality & Monitoring:

  • Ensure quality assurance through regular field visits and performance reviews.
  • Oversee Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems.
  • Promote learning, documentation, and adaptive programme management.

Advocacy, Partnerships & Representation:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, CSOs, churches, and partners.
  • Represent the organisation at relevant national and state-level forums and networks.
  • Coordinate partners and community stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery.

Team Management & Safeguarding:

  • Supervise and support programme staff, including performance management and development.
  • Promote accountability, safeguarding standards, and professional growth within the team.

Qualifications & Experience
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ICT tools.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in NGO programme management (OVC or related sector).
  • Proven experience managing large-scale development programmes.
  • Experience working with government institutions and development partners in Nigeria.
  • Strong background in planning, budgeting, advocacy, reporting, and community-based programming.
  • Experience with social media visibility and engagement is an added advantage.

Salary
N400,000 - N600,000
