Rainbow College is a co-educational school in Nigeria. Founded 1996 in Nigeria, it runs both as a Day and Boarding School. The Day School is situated at 51 Johnson Street, off Bode Thomas Street, Surulere and the Boarding School is situated at KM 39, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Asese Village, Maba, Ogun State. The school serves to prepare boys and girls for additional education either at a University in Nigeria or elsewhere in the world.

Job Description

• Monitor the Administration of internal and external examination results
• Evaluate and analyze students results and progress for adequate counseling and advice to students by the principal
• Discuss observations with the various subject teachers as necessary and advise them on the line of action for an improved result.
• Identify the training needs of the Academic staff and recommend such for training and re-training in conjunction with the Principals and Human Resource
• Work alongside School Principals, and offer advice and support on academic issues
• Monitor and develop as necessary the systems in use for reporting pupil attainment, achievement and progress to parents
• Formulate practicable policies that will enhance the smooth running of the school academically
• Develop and maintain the highest curriculum and teaching standards that will make students excel both nationally and internationally
• Keep up-to-date with changes in educational theory and subject requirements: the National Curriculum; International Curricula, Scholarship expectations, etc
• Liaise with various local and international academic bodies
• Lead by example in all professional matters; ensuring that all staff observe matters such as dressing, punctuality and mutual support
• Review all academic policies, curriculum documents and schemes of work at least annually
• Ensure the successful implementation of subject policies and schemes of work
• Monitor preparation for all foreign exams e.g. SAT, IGCSE, Checkpoint, IB programs etc
