ECONOMICS TEACHER

Responsibilities

• Teaching specialized subjectto students in designated classes.
• Attending to all assignedclasses regularly and punctually.
• Conducting class tests, periodic tests, practical/projects, homework etc on a regular basis and marking all exercise books while proper records obtained by students are kept as continuous assessment.
• Involvement in the conduct of afternoon session classes for students at designated times on the time-table.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc., B.Ed., M.Sc., M.Ed. in Economics from reputable institutions.
• Must possess at least 2 years cognate experience teaching Economics in a secondary school.
• Past experience in prepararing students for WASSCE is an added advantage
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
