Reports To: Factory Operations Manager


Job Summary

  • The Factory Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the electrical control systems, machinery, and equipment within the plastic production plant.
  • The role ensures all electrical systems operate efficiently, effectively, and safely. The Factory Electrical Engineer will work closely with the production team to optimize processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and machinery for the manufacturing process.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for electrical components and systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to electrical systems and their integration into the manufacturing processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance of electrical systems and machinery in the production plant, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and departments to integrate electrical designs with overall plant operations.
  • Optimize the performance and efficiency of electrical systems to support the plastic manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repairelectrical systems, including ACB/VCB, motors, and other industrial equipment.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations specific to electrical systems in plastic production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in the plastics industry.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, including ACB/VCB operation and maintenance, as well as industrial equipment and hand tools.
  • Knowledge of electric motors and their integration into plastic manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems in plastic production machinery.
