We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Finance Officer


Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily finance operations including ensuring on-time disbursement of approved loans and communicating same with all stakeholders through available platforms.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation and settlement of financial transactions within the organization.
  • Carry out monthly bank reconciliations for both Disbursement account and designated collections account.
  • Daily Spooling and furnishing of stakeholders with bank statements.
  • Provide daily liquidity report to the CEO and HOF.
  • Preparing and keep custody of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly Interest Income and Interest expenses report.
  • Work closely with internal teams, external parties, and financial institutions to reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate the smooth settlement of transactions.
  • Responsible for key liquidity availability management functions. This includes cash forecasting and cash management processes, liquidity monitoring and funding strategies.
  • Analysis of short-term cash needs, providing forecast information and assistance to the Head of Finance regarding Term Deposits and maximizing interest revenue.
  • Analyze data, identify errors or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
  • Liaise with parties (banks and processors) to ensure optimal cost structures and verify daily settlements
  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting, other duties and project work as required.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • OND / HND in Accounting, Banking/Finance, or any Social Science course
  • 1 - 2 years of work experience as a reconciliation officer or data analyst
  • Self-Stater possessing good analytical skills.
