Job Position: Fleet Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role as a Fleet Officer at Quality Foods Africa Group. The Fleet Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating the overall operations and maintenance of fleet vehicles.
• The Fleet officer ensures that the fleet is running efficiently, vehicles are well-maintained, and drivers are following safety protocols.

Job Description includes:

• Fleet Maintenance - Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all fleet vehicles, and ensuring all vehicles are in safe operating condition.
• Vehicle Acquisition - Managing the acquisition of new vehicles, bikes, trucks etc, for the fleet, including researching and negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Fuel Management - Monitoring fuel consumption.
• Drivers' Management - Supervising and training fleet drivers to ensure they comply with safety regulations.
• Fleet Reporting - Providing regular reports on fleet performance, including vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, fuel consumption, and driver performance.
• Compliance and Regulatory - Ensuring fleet compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and licensing requirements, such as vehicle registration, insurance, and safety inspections.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Logistics, or Transportation Management is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in procurement and supply chain management
• Knowledge of fleet management software
• Experience in the food or logistics industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
