Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL Pensions) is a licensed Pension Fund Administrator with over 10 years of professional experience in Pension Funds Administration. We were incorporated on April 14, 2005 to manage and administer retirement savings contributions of employees in Nigeria as a result of the Pension Reform Act of 2004.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Full Stack Developer

Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary

• The role holder will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the development of software life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with development teams and stakeholders to create software solutions.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Write effective APIs.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Write technical documentation.

Requirements

• Should possess a minimum educational qualification of a 2:2 Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, ICT, computer engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of full stack development experience from a reputable institution.
• Proficiency with Git. Knowledge of Flutter is an additional advantage.
• Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party vendors and libraries.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Good organisational and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, PHP, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js),
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. IIS, Apache), and UI/UX design.
• Hands on skills in managing complex relationship in a matrixed environment.
• Strong Stakeholder management skills.
• Strong oral and verbal communication skills.
