Job Description

• We are looking for a versatile Hardware and Networking Engineer to manage annual maintenance contracts for our clients while also providing technical support to other clients as needed.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' hardware and networking infrastructure, both on-site and remotely

Responsibilities

• Manage annual maintenance contracts for clients, including regular maintenance visits, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and networking issues.
• Provide technical support to clients on hardware and networking-related matters, both on-site and remotely.
• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware components such as servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Configure and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network infrastructures for clients.
• Conduct routine inspections and health checks of clients' hardware and networking systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and recommend hardware and networking solutions to meet their needs.
• Document maintenance activities, troubleshooting procedures, and network configurations for clients' systems.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in hardware and networking to provide innovative solutions and improvements to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Hardware and Networking Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Hands-on experience with hardware components such as servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience in managing annual maintenance contracts and providing technical support to clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent are a plus.
