Cool Bank, a newly established microfinance bank set to commence operations, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Business Development (Retail & Marketing) to lead business expansion, product development, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

About the Role

• This role requires a business leader with a strong understanding of retail banking, marketing, and financial inclusion.
• You will drive growth through innovation, effective sales strategies, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Expansion & Product Development: Drive market penetration, develop and upgrade microfinance products, and grow retail banking operations.
• Revenue Generation & Cost Control: Mobilize deposits, increase loan disbursement, and optimize costs to maximize profitability.
• Marketing & Sales Execution: Implement marketing strategies, drive customer acquisition, and achieve set sales targets.
• Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with regulators, fintechs, and business partners to enhance growth.
• Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in financial services.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Retail Banking, or Marketing within the Microfinance Banking sector.
• Must have worked with a Microfinance Bank.
• Professional certifications (CIBN, NIMN, etc) are an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Target-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must reside close to Ajah/Ikota for easy accessibility.

Salary
N400,000 Monthly.
