We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Information Technology Intern
Job Locations: Bayelsa, Edo and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 IT support.
- Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other organizational systems.
- Install and troubleshoot printers and scanners.
- Assist with troubleshooting and providing support to users.
- Organize and maintain IT resources and inventory.
- Assist in performing hands-on fixes of desktop and laptop computers, including installation and upgrades of software and general systems installations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related field; experience in managing an Information Technology operation is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in the field of information technology.
- Knowledge of system development methods used for the development of new systems and enhancements to existing information systems.
- Knowledge of computer monitoring systems, vendor-supplied packaged programs, macros, utilities, and other highly technical programs.
- Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.
- Ability to use programming procedures and techniques in the implementation of computer programs.

Language Skills:
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Knowledge of Local Language preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in public speaking.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook/Exchange, Windows operating systems, Power Point.
- Other software routinely used by Heartland Alliance.
