We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: HSE Specialist
Job Locations: Zamfara and Jigawa

Job Descriptions

• Conduct inspections of site construction projects
• Review statutory requirements related to one or more safety and/or health regulations, and assess facility or programmatic compliance.
• Participate in informal reviews, inspections, and audits using established procedures.
• Provide pre-job ES&H briefings to offsite contractor employees as needed.
• Will be required to develop and/or present various safety and health training courses operation.
• Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections, weekly eyewash/safety shower inspections and monthly crane inspections.
• Assist in the development of simple programs, systems, or processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in ES&H-related field, i.e., Engineering, or other Sciences. Master's degree a plus.
• Good written communication skills;
• Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications;
• Organisational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations.
• Ability to prepare basic documents, forms, proficient in web browsing and using instant messaging tools.
• Honest and reliable
