Job Description

  • A Human Resource (HR) Personnel is responsible for managing and overseeing various human resource functions within an organization.
  • This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance with labor laws, and ensuring a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct interviews, background checks, and reference checks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee concerns and grievances.
  • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions.
  • Promote a positive work environment and organizational culture.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance issues.
  • Implement performance improvement plans.

Training and Development:

  • Assess training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and organizational policies.
  • Conduct salary surveys and benchmark compensation practices.

Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Manage HR software and information systems.
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports for management.

Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration, or a related field (mandatory).
  • HND in People Operations / Business Administration or related field. 

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an HR role (mandatory).
  • Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with HR software and information systems.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in HR software and information systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary
N250,000 - N400,000 monthly
