Job Position: Human Resources (HR) Officer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Develop job descriptions and specifications.
  • Post job openings, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees.

Employee Relations:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain employee records and confidentiality.

Performance Management:

  • Design and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Set objectives and monitor employee performance.
  • Provide coaching and training to staff.

Training and Development:

  • Assess employee training needs and develop programs.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and other professional development activities.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Manage payroll and benefits programs.
  • Review and negotiate with vendors for employee benefits.

HR Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Conduct workforce planning and succession planning.

Skills and Requirements
Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of HR experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record in managing recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of HR software and systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, SAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
