Job Position: Internal Control Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT) and Port Harcourt - Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Purpose

• The Audit Officer will carry out internal audit functions and promote a ‘control culture’ within the organization.

Job Description

• Verification of spare parts received from Headquarters
• Verify After sales technician Incentives
• Gate pass issued are reviewed
• I.O.U retirement by workshop/ Admin
• Review opening and closing of job cards
• Observe the stock take of Motor vehicles and spare parts
• Review stock take report for Motor vehicles and spare parts
• Carry out reconciliation of Motor vehicles
• Verify receipts and lodgment
• Observe cash count
• Check imprest for reimbursement
• Spot –check of spare parts in store and compare with the records
• Verify motor vehicles released to customers or transferred to the branches
• Check payment vouchers presented for reimbursement-payback, refund, petty cash
• Supervise and review operations of other eastern locations

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years of working experience
• First Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field
• Sound and practical knowledge of Microsoft NAV and Excel
• Relevant professional certifications e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA),
