We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Inventory Manager

Job Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Receive, inspect, store and scan goods
• Issue goods to the shelf attendants and help with arranging and display of goods in an orderly system within the stock location system for easy retrievals
• Record and track stock levels
• Monitor distribution of stock
• To undertake the function of stock taking and confirm the period stock on a regular basis by working closing with the designated staff members.
• To supervise the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, etc. so that it can be accessed and identified easily.
• To ensure the correct and timely valuation of the inventory and to be involved in directing and managing procedures related to offloading, packing and unpacking
• Maintain stock records manually and/or using the ERP inventory system in place.
• Prepare the purchase orders, inventories with the inventory manager and be accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders
• Ensures that goods/stocks stay physically protected in the warehouse
• Monitor goods for expiration dates
• Responsible for preparing the reports on adjustments done to inventory that may be damaged, spoilt, etc., and coordinates the purchasing, inventory and warehousing functions
• Implement measures to get rid of surplus or obsolete stock.
• Keep and maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out og the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completeness
• To be involved in reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system.
• Counting equipment, materials, merchandise and supplies in stock
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and system records
• Any other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 3 - 5 years of work experience.

Salary
N140,000 - N180,000 / month.
