Inventory Supervisor

Job Position: Inventory Supervisor
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee the activities of Site Admin Officers in terms of reporting of daily inventory activities at site (supplies, usage, security, safety of site inventories etc.).
• Interviewing/training of Site Admin Officers
• Input into the QuickBooks all the store reports from Site on daily Basis
• Ensure accurate delivery of inventory per order ( Quality, Quantity and Price)
• Develop an inventory tracking system to streamline management of inventories at our projects
• Communicate with our Site Admin Officers on current stock and potential issues encountered with orders.
• Conduct daily analyses as to projected usage of materials base on work done and forecast potential inventory usage based on work to be done and advise on any notable variance and advice accordingly.
• Report on inventory variances
• Assess new inventory to ensure it is ready for shipping or delivery
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
• Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use
• Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and skills

• HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying Business, Finance or related field
• Computer savvy in the use of Ms Office, quickbook software
• 2+ years’ experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures
• 2+ years’ supervisory experience
• Proven experience as a Site Admin Officer is an added advantage
• Able to multi-task and work independently
• Proven leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• In-depth understanding of distribution workplaces
• Inventory training an asset
