1.) Motion Graphics Designer
Job Location: Lagos

About the Role
- As a Motion Graphics Artist, you will work closely with the Creative Team, Content Marketing team, and other key stakeholders to brainstorm and create artwork and high quality video content that reflect the Alt School brand and ambition.
- You will do much to bring static images to life, through your ability to create graphics that are in motion using visual effects, animation and other cinematic techniques.
To be Successful in this Role:
- You should be story driven and have an understanding of big-picture context.
- You are open to using constructive feedback to make adjustments required for an excellent artwork.
- You have an understanding of the concept of motion and timelines with the ability to choreograph complex movements, one element at a time, and this has helped you learn to adapt your work and incorporate rhythm and pacing into your creative process.
What You Will Be Doing
- Create motion graphic elements for all content such as montage, Lower thirds, digital gifs, visual presentations.
- Work with art and creative teams to select audio, video, colors, animation, etc. for graphic design.
- Complete projects from concept to completion as part of a larger team collaboration.
- Edit video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
- Stay up to date on the latest graphic design techniques.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree or other verifiable certificates in Film Studies, Cinematography.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects.
- Adequate knowledge of Z-brush, Nuke, Maya will be added advantage
- Vast knowledge of Production and Post-Production Workflow
- UI/UX experience a plus.
- Style frame and Storyboard to develop visual style concepts.
- Proficient in Adobe Suites such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Experience in Cinema 4D and/or 3D max
- Understanding of different video codecs and best practices associated with them.

About the Role
- As an Associate Video Editor, you will work closely with the Creative Team, Content Marketing team, and other key stakeholders to brainstorm and create high-quality video content that reflects the Alt School brand and ambition.
- You will bring your knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques to life.
- You will be a great fit for this role if you have a creative mind and storytelling skills, with an unusual way of thinking and getting things done. Your ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged is of great importance on the job.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assemble raw footages, encoding and uploading for different platforms
- Edit video footage for promotional and educational purposes
- Color Correcting and improving footage
- Work with art and creative teams to select audio, video, colors, animation, etc. for graphic design
- Create final videos from start to finish.
- Archive and store digital properties of the company
Qualifications
What we are looking for:

3.) Program Manager
Job Location: Lagos

About the Role
- As a Program Manager, you will work closely with the Programs Management Team and other key stakeholders.
- You will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the successful delivery of school programs. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess exceptional organizational skills.
- Moreover, you must have a comprehensive understanding of retention strategy and adeptness in relationship management.
Job Role
- Organize and manage programs that align with the company’s objectives and mission.
- Coordinate with cross-disciplined teams to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and overall program timelines.
- Identify and initiate partnerships with organizations that are able to deliver quality technical content
- Track the progress of all students in real-time, regularly check in when they are lagging behind, and provide adequate support.
- Provide support for all instructors and mentors in their responsibilities while tracking mentor, instructor, and student's progress weekly using performance reviews frameworks.
- Develop and manage new program strategies to support the strategic direction of the company.
- Manage all stakeholders involved in the various programs and effectively deliver value to all.
- Support the Learning and Development team at 'The Alt School Africa' in nurturing a new generation of highly skilled talents while maintaining a strong focus on delivering excellence
- Identify and recommend collaborative ways to improve the internal program processes.
- Support with launching and execution of special and/or new projects or programs within the school.
- Serve as a bridge between students and instructors.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience managing programs within the learning and development, Edtech, software development, or other related field.
- Good knowledge of the latest Learning & Development trends with the zeal to educate and empower Africans.
- Excellent team management skills.
- A can-do attitude.
- Good knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
- Proficient in efficiently managing school calendars to ensure smooth operations and scheduling.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of product/project management
