About the job

• An AV Technician is responsible for setting up audio, video, and lighting that meet requirements to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while troubleshooting issues and providing solutions.

What will I be doing?

• As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up audio, video, and lighting that meet requirements to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
• An AV Technician will also be required to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to meet guest requirements.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Meet and exceed customer expectations consistently.
• Set up audio, video and lighting to meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, pinpoint faults, and offer remedies during events.
• Attend appropriate training courses when required.
• Ensure compliance of brand standards
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
• Work closely with the Conference and Banqueting team.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge of front of house equipment and property management systems
• Be environmentally aware.

Job Description

• A Driver provides a transportation service to Guests and visitors as requested, where safety, cleanliness, and superior customer service are always priorities.

What will I be doing?

• As a Driver, you will provide a transportation service to Guests and visitors as requested, where safety, cleanliness, and superior customer service are always included.

A Driver contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Welcome Guests on arrival and assist with their luggage
• Maintain frequent contact with regular Guests and visitors
• Park Guests' cars on the hotel premises
• Demonstrate a current knowledge of external locations, attractions and landmarks in the vicinity
• Comply with all hotel security, fire regulations and Health and Safety legislation
• Provide a driving service to Guests, as required
• Maintain clean and safe hotel vehicles
• Stay current on all hotel services as well as VIP requirements and special events
• Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service

3.) Engineer - Technician

Job Description 

• An Engineer/Technician will support the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such that safety, security, conversation, and compliance are ensured at the highest levels.

What will I be Doing?

• As Engineer/Technician, you will support the Engineering Team to ensure that engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel, including general property maintenance energy conservation, are working properly and to standard.
• You are also responsible for the development of the Engineering Team and staying abreast of compliance regulations and procedures in the field of Engineering, as required for hotel standards. Specifically, an Engineer will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Recommend maintenance system improvements and energy savings
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition
• Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel rooms
• Respond promptly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise
• Execute the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained to the required standard
• Assist in the implementation of energy conservation program
• Keep your technical training knowledge and skills up to date

• A certificate in a specialized field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, or Plumbing, required
• Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
• Experience in the Maintenance Department of a large hotel, hospital, ship, and/or restaurant complex or similar
• Strong work ethic
• A passion for delivering great customer service
• Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
