We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Telecoms Rigger

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Job Summary

  • The Telecoms Rigger at Linkorg Networks Limited will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures.
  • This role requires excellent climbing skills, a strong understanding of telecommunications systems, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
Installation and Maintenance:

  • Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment, including wireless antennas, satellite dishes, and cabling, on towers and other elevated structures.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety of equipment.
  • Install fiber optic cables and other structured cabling systems for telecommunications networks.
  • Work with ground teams to set up and test equipment.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Conduct safety checks and risk assessments before climbing and performing work at height.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection gear
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with telecommunications equipment and systems.
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment and components as needed.
  • Document and report any issues encountered and solutions implemented.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other team members, including ground technicians, engineers, and customer service representatives.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to team members regarding work progress and any issues encountered.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • SSCE or equivalent. Technical training or certification in telecommunications, electrical, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working at heights, preferably in the telecommunications or construction industry.
    Experience with the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment is highly desirable.
  • Experience with fiber cabling and splicing is highly desirable.
  • Experience as a telecommunications rigger or related field.
  • Proficiency in climbing and working at heights, with certification in tower climbing.
  • Knowledge of rigging techniques, knots, and safety procedures specific to tower climbing.
  • Proficiency in fiber cabling and splicing
  • Understanding of telecommunications equipment and wireless antenna systems.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks at heights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various outdoor environments and weather conditions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in tower climbing and rescue (such as ComTrain or equivalent) is required.
  • Additional certifications in telecommunications technology or safety are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor locations and confined spaces.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders and towers, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites as required.

2.) Chief Sales Officer

Revenue Growth and Management:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the management of key accounts and build strong relationships with major clients.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitors' activities.
  • Use market insights to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Identify and address potential risks to achieving sales goals.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Communicate sales performance, strategies, and goals to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and results.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage the sales budget.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and projections.
  • Monitor sales expenses and ensure they are within budget.
  • Above Job description is high level and cold change subject to discussions with the Managing director.

3.) Network Manager

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • A network manager oversees a Linkorg’s network by planning, implementing, and maintaining its infrastructure to ensure reliability and security.
  • Key responsibilities include designing and installing networks, troubleshooting issues, managing security measures, and overseeing network performance and backups.
  • This role requires a strong technical background in areas like networking and security, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, deploy and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Defining network architecture standards, policies, and procedures
  • Overseeing the implementation of firewalls, switches, wireless, and cloud networking
  • Ensuring network security through segmentation, access control, and patching
  • Managing SLAs, incident escalations, and service provider relationships
  • Planning and budgeting for network upgrades and infrastructure projects
  • Monitoring KPIs such as uptime, latency, and response time
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
  • Ensure network designs are scalable and support current and future service demands
  • Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks, failures, and other issues using tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, or Nagios.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of network issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Troubleshoot network problems related to connectivity, latency, routing, switching, and traffic management.
  • Ensure all network incidents are handled within defined SLAs.
  • Provide technical support to other departments during the deployment of new services or systems.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Provide regular reports on network performance, uptime, and capacity to management.
  • Evaluate new networking solutions, tools, and equipment to improve network performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, preferably within an ISP or telecommunications company.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CCNP or equivalent, are highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Huawei and Mikrotik devices
  • Strong knowledge of IP networking.
  • Strong expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS.
  • Familiarity with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using network monitoring and management tools like Zabbix, SolarWinds, Wireshark, or PRTG.
