We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Internal Auditor
Job Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Design and subsequently examine and evaluate the effectiveness and adequacy of the internal control systems.
- Perform tests on both the functioning of specific internal control procedures and transactions.
- Conduct regular control checks on cash, inventory, expenses, dispatch, and production reports.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with existing Company policies and procedures, identifying and proposing modifications as needed.
- Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement.
- Engage in remediation of identified issues through follow-up.
- Review the responses to internal and external audit management letters and queries to ensure that recommendations are implemented and all action items are resolved.
- Provide support to the company's anti-fraud programs.
- Undertake special investigations that may be required to forestall mismanagement of Company resources.
- Report on control deficiencies to management and make recommendations to mitigate risk and add value.
- Play an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices.
- Conduct mystery shopping exercises and any other assessments as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of internal control principles, audit methodologies, and risk management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and best practices in internal auditing.
2.) Project Engineer
Job Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project delivery team to develop project scope, plans, schedules, and budgets for solar mini-grid installations.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders to determine optimal system design and layout for solar projects.
- Work closely with Design Engineers to prepare detailed engineering designs, including electrical schematics, equipment specifications, and bill of materials required for solar projects.
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance during project implementation and post-installation support.
- Proactively identify potential project risks and develop response actions to mitigate negative impacts.
- Coordinate procurement activities with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment and materials.
- Provide regular project implementation updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of solar systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and delivery of solar projects.
- Proficiency in CAD and Solar Design Simulation Software.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated problem-solving capability.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in various locations as required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for leveraging renewable energy for sustainable development in communities.
3.) Procurement, Inventory, and Logistics Officer
Job Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess procurement needs and develop strategies for sourcing materials, equipment, and services.
- Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management, to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and minimize disruptions to project timelines.
- Provide regular updates on procurement, inventory, and logistics activities to internal stakeholders, including preparing reports and presentations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure efficient movement of materials and equipment to project sites.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or logistics roles.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices, including supplier management and contract negotiation.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software/systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of renewable energy or related industries is a plus.
