We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) IT Support Officer
Job Location: Nigeria

About the Role
- We seek highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support to provide Information Technology support toan Exploration and production company.
- To manage and maintain the network infrastructure, as well as the acquisition, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer hardware devices
- To manage all software applications running on the hardware devices and ensure they provide adequate support to the company to achieve set objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides robust support for IT platforms and infrastructure for business operations.
- Assists in implementing IT strategies, policies, and procedures
- Plans, designs, and maintains data networks and servers
- Provides technical support to users on network issues
- Administers day-to-day operations of networks and servers
- Implements LAN/WAN maintenance and management procedures.
- Establishes and maintains user accounts, profiles, file sharing, and access privileges on the company intranet
- Deployment of computer hardware around the company.
- Manages relationships with service providers to ensure seamless, cost-effective, and hitch-free internet connectivity.
- Maintains logs and records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions.
- Provides support and maintenance to the business software and applications
- Installs, supports, and maintains both physical and virtual network servers and appliances
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of computer networks within the company
- Liaises with the Internet Service Providers and other vendors for cost-effective services in line with Service Level Agreements
- Maintains computer peripheral equipment such as scanners, and printers and ensures that these are prepared and ready to be used.
- Installs client/server applications and essential software patches carries out any required maintenance of applications, and identifies compatibility issues, escalating appropriately
- Supervises and performs hands-on training for computer users and operators.
- Develops and executes company-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans for software, data, and applications
- Performs the addition, removal, and updates of staff data and access rights in line with the information security policy.
- Administer and maintain databases, ensuring they are secure, backed up, and optimized for performance.
- Implement and enforce data security protocols to safeguard sensitive information, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role
- Professional qualifications: CCNA, CompTIA A+, N+ and MCSA
- Hands-on experience in maintaining SAP, LAN, WAN, Thin Clients, Printers, Outlook, MS Office etc.

2.) Technical Assistant

About the Role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to support the Managing Director of an Exploration and production company.
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with strong technical and organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. This role will involve a variety of tasks, from technical report preparation to project coordination and administrative support.The role is essential to ensuring the effective execution of strategic initiatives, technical project oversight, and operational excellence.
KeyDutiesandResponsibilities
Technical Support:
- Support the MD with data analysis, technical reports, and updates on key projects.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Assist the MD in managing and coordinating the company’s technical operations.
- Gather, analyze, and present data related to production forecasts, reservoir performance, and operational efficiencies, preparing reports to aid in informed decision-making.
- Monitor and report on the progress on all technical matters.
- Conduct research and data analysis to support decision-making.
- Summarize complex technical concepts and key performance indicators.
- Circulate approved minutes
Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with department heads and project teams on the execution of projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Assist with technical documentation and compliance with industry standards.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Work closely with the MD to identify and implement new business opportunities in alignment with the company's growth strategy.
- Support the MD in developing and executing strategic plans related to procurement solutions, technical manpower services, and equipment provision.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the company’s strategic objectives.
- Provide analytical support to the MD for decision-making regarding business development and operational efficiency.
KeyRequirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degreein Petroleum Engineering.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
- Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a similar field is an added advantage
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven project management skills with an ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in technical report writing and data analysis.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

About the Role
- We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the Managing Director of an Exploration and production company.
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and ameticulous attention to detail. This role will involve a wide range of responsibilities, from managing the MD's schedule to coordinating complex projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the MD’s calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the MD and internal teams, vendors, and business partners, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Provide administrative and office management support to the Managing Director
- Maintain travel schedules and book travel arrangements
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and visas.
- Prepare draft reports, and background documentation, and conduct required research activities
- Receive, screen, direct all inbound telephone calls, e-mails, and visitors for the MD’s office
- Troubleshoot and/or escalate office administration issues
- Review, evaluate, and distribute priority correspondence for the executive team
- Review all documents, reports, and correspondence prepared for executive signatures for format, content, grammar, and spelling and make edits as necessary.
- Organize and prepare materials for meetings, record minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items and deliverables.
- Prepare and review presentations – internal and external
- Facilitate communication with department managers, business unit leaders, and project managers
- Take and transcribe notes
- Present a positive and professional image of the executive office to all visitors, suppliers, and others.
- Other duties shall be assigned as required by the MD
KeyRequirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- 5 to 8 years of experience in an administrative role.
Skills and Competencies:
- Calendar management, scheduling, and prioritizing executive tasks
- Efficiently organizing files, records, and data for easy retrieval
- Coordinating travel, meetings, and logistics
- Effectively managing time for both themselves and the executive
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including composing emails, reports, and memos
