We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) PLC / DCS Technician / Engineer
Job Location: Ogun
Job Description
- Responsible for the management and implementation of instrumentation engineering and maintenance policies, strategies, and programs in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure optimal plant availability for production
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of an instrumentation strategy to accomplish the overall objectives of the organisation
- Oversee the preparation of division/department capital and operating budgets
- Ensure that instrumentation engineers and technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to ensure that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
- Coordinate and direct the activities of the instrumentation staff to ensure that the reliability and availability of plant systems and equipment
- Oversee the maintenance of existing plant instrumentation facilities and equipment; replacement and adjustments to plant facilities where necessary
- Track, analyse and improve key maintenance parameters such as asset utilisation, maintenance cost, schedule compliance, etc
- Direct, maintain and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department; review safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance engineers and technicians
- Coordinate activities and communicate with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas
- Review plant instrumentation equipment maintenance projections and schedules
- Ensure that equipment preventive maintenance program are implemented as per agreed schedule
- Monitor the effectiveness of the program, maintenance reworks and makes recommendations
- Enforce standards and safe work procedures for the plant and ensure regulations relating to the instrumentation department are met at all times
- Provide training, development and leadership to plant instrumentation personnel
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Mechanical or Instrument/Electrical Engineering or related discipline or HND holder with upper credit
- Three to fIve (3-5) years of demonstrated operating experience in maintenance practices
- In-depth knowledge in PLC & Distributed Control System (DCS)
- Graduates from well-known universities are preferred
- Candidates with high scores in the UTME examination will be given priority for recruitment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commitment to implemented safety and environment regulations
- Experience: PLC systems design is essential, using any PLC hardware- but ideally one of Siemens S7 TIA, Rockwell Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi. Electrical background would be very useful.
- Thorough understanding of Allen Bradley PLC's a plus
- Good data gathering and analysis skills
- Baseline problem analysis and solving skills
- Creativity and an ability to think out of the box

2.) Electrical Engineer (Power Plant)
Job Location: Ogun
Job Description
- We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at cng glass nigeriaz fze to work within our Power Plant facility at igbesa Location.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems, with a focus on 33KV, 11kV VCB panels, breaker maintenance, wiring troubleshooting, maintaining checklists, generator fault troubleshooting, reading wiring diagrams and rectification.
- The candidate will report to the Electrical Head and collaborate closely with other engineering and operational teams. Should have computer skills on MS Office and email writings for communication and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 33kv, 11kV VCB panels, ACB, VCB, transformers, cables, and other electrical equipment within the power plant.
- Conduct overhead line patrols to identify and address any potential electrical issues or hazards.
- Develop and maintain checklists for regular equipment inspections and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
- Keep accurate records of operational parameters, maintenance activities, equipment status, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Execute breaker maintenance procedures, including testing, servicing, and repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot generator issues, diagnose faults, and implement appropriate rectification measures to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure timely resolution of electrical issues and minimize disruptions to power plant operations.
- Responsible for Power plant operation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Medium voltage systems, Low Voltage system, transformers, ACB, VCB, CT, PT, Energy meters, Starters, VFD, Cable Termination and jointings and related electrical components.
Qualifications and Skills
- H.N.D or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience working in a power plant or similar industrial environment, with a focus on electrical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of computer software’s and reporting tools, email, and MS office
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with standard safety practices and regulations governing electrical systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and rectify electrical faults promptly.
- Be Innovative, creative, hardworking, resilient, and self-motivated
- Ability to work on shifts including Saturdays.
Salary

3.) Mechanical Fitter
Job Location: Ogun
Job Description
- To ensure that all the mechanical systems and equipment in our facilities operates efficiently and optimally.
- Carry out preventive maintenance program/checks at regular intervals and act preventively to avoid situations from arising that may compromise the proper functioning of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure that maintenance is performed according to a schedule, in conjunction with the maintenance planner to sustain or improve equipment overall efficiency.
- Perform post-maintenance functional tests and checks to verify that the maintenance action was successful before handing it over to production team and sign off.
- Responsible for documenting maintenance operations (e.g. keeping a log of maintenance activities, gathering data and preparing reports on repairs carried out, frequent breakdowns and routine checks) and report to a Supervisor/Technical Manager.
Qualifications
- O’ Level WAEC / NECO / NABTEB / Trade Test.
- Experience: 2 years of cognate experience.
- OND Certificate in Science will be an added advantage.
